I believe you should see a retinal specialist, an ophthalmologist as soon as possible, very soon. Waiting until August is not acceptable, Please access an appointment right away via your optometrist or primary care doctor.

I keep seeing things about treatment to help MD not progress but my Dr didn’t like the odds of shots for dry (1/2 ppl it doesn’t help & the half it didn’t about guaranteed go blind. I did not like those odds either. I it keeps changing maybe it is a cataract growing I don’t know I left die is really bad. She has never said if I have beginning or intermediate I called the office and they just gave me an appointment clear out in August and I don’t think they really talk to the doctor, but I’m not sure. How important is it to go to an ophthalmologist? I’m not sure if she is one or not. My eye doctor said there’s no way to tell if someone’s gonna get worse. Meanwhile, I’m losing more vision and I’m scared any worse & I don’t know if I’ll be driving.

The Alleye is very useful. I had a hard time using the Amsler grid, but this app helped me with a decrease in my vision. Made an appt and yes, my Intermediate MD had progressed.
