I think the distortion of AMD definitely contributes to being dizzy. If I'm walking and the pavement looks wavy, I get the feeling of dizziness.
I had cataract surgery in April. My eye's/brain are still trying to get insync and I do notice that I bump into doorways and feel a bit awkward when walking. So, I'm wondering how long does it take the brain to fully connect with the eyes? I'm to go tomorrow for my final exam since surgery. I can feel 1 eye or the other one kind of straining to work better.

I had cataract surgery back in 2018. Just had them checked out at my regular yearly eye exam, eight years later. My lenses are still clear. Have your eye Dr check them out..
