Sometimes it seems like I have a dark blurry area and no wavy lines. I noticed lately I find it difficult to drive when it’s sunny out.

When I wake up in the dark I can see a black floater? For a few .seconds. Write down how you feel and do the best you can to describe your symptoms.

Have you tried the yellow tinted sunglasses? They have some called Cocoon, not very stylish, but I think they help. Do you have Intermediate Macular degeneration or the wet kind?

When describing your vision changes, be specific about:
- How quickly the blurriness comes on
- Whether you need more light when reading
- If you notice dark or blank spots in your vision
- Whether colors appear more dull or washed out
- If you have trouble recognizing faces It's also helpful to track and compare vision between your left and right eyes. Pay attention to how your vision adapts when moving between bright and dark spaces, as AMD can affect this adjustment time. Keep notes about these changes between appointments - this information helps your doctor understand how your condition is progressing and determine the best treatment approach.
