If you are getting shots always have them check the eye pressure. In fact whichever eye doctor you see always have them check the pressure. When I was first diagnosed with AMD five years ago I began shots in my eyes. I had let my diabetes get out of control and I needed them, but unaware to me and apparently to the doctor injecting for 2 years my eye pressure was out of control, long story short, needed glaucoma surgery but I eventually went blind in my right eye and my left eye is getting worse weekly. Need follow up surgery. Get your pressure checked! Good luck!

Yes I will. This will be my 3rd time seeing him. Once a year and ophthalmologist every 6 months. Sorry about your driving. Not easy!

Yes, it does seem that there are things to worry about! I’ve stopped driving because I’ve lost enough depth perception. I was reading in dimmer light than usual and there’s a crescent shape grey spot in my vision. I am glad you are seeing a Retinal Dr. Can you post what you find out?

Hi Cathy. Eye pressure ok. No treatment needed at this time. I am on vacation in Bermuda where it is very hot, bright& sunny. Wearing dark sunglasses & hat everyday. Noticing very large dark floaters at night. Eyes having trouble adjusting to the dark. They are scary. Ophthalmologist said AMD stable in May. Retina dr July 7. How are you doing? I feel like there is always something to worry about!
