Cataract surgery can help vision but the macula is a different section off the eye way in the back while cataract involves front structure of the eye. I am actually considering this as my left eye for reading is becoming worse.

Hi Phillshida, I had Cataract surgery about 15 y/ago. I don't think they could redo that OP. Even though I have Geographic Atrophy and Druesen. I would think you might want to talk with you RS just to make sure!!
