Yes, experiencing temporary blurry vision after using digital devices is something many people with AMD experience. This happens because AMD affects your central vision, which is what you use most when looking at phones and tablets. The condition can make it harder to focus on close-up tasks and may require more time for your eyes to adjust.

Here are some tips that may help:
• Take regular breaks from screen time
• Ensure good lighting when using devices
• Adjust screen brightness to a comfortable level
• Hold devices at a comfortable distance If you notice any significant changes in your vision or if the blurriness persists for longer periods, it's important to track these changes. Many eye doctors recommend using an Amsler grid daily to monitor vision changes. This can help you recognize if what you're experiencing is related to normal AMD symptoms or if there might be progression in your condition.
