Same issue and answers as you. I now get Eylea quarterly, and have no side effects. I am considering the new red light treatment fda approved last year.

Update on my question: Hello my amd friends:
Went to my first retinal specialist last Wednesday , June 24.
Very excellent dr.
My eye that I had the last Cateract surgery on went from dry amd to wet amd. I figured that.
I was calm and he told me I have two choices to get injections or just let it get worse. Of course I chose injections.
I didn’t even feel a thing, is the first thing I want to share.
I see him again in 5weeks and he will decide then if I need another injection then or what. I will keep you all updated.
I got Eyelea injection. Just fyi
I will come back to let you all know how it all goes.
I am to keep taking the areds 2 and that’s fine.
And he said not to take any of the advertisements like the one I was asking you all about. He said they are bad and not to do it. Ha so ok
Plus the lady that took my insurance said to not google all that much. She had been there for 40 years and she said follow what your dr says.
So I will

BTW any reports from someone getting Eylea injections.
This group is good for me it’s wonderful to share.
I am 80 years old and got diagnosed with dry and about 4 years ago.
