Hi Cathy,
The name of the eye mister is a company called Johncase. The cost was $28. I bought it on Amazon. You’ll see a lot of different types of misters at different prices I just picked this up based on the reviews. So far it seems to help relieve my tired eyes and eyelids. I use it twice a day at medium heat. It’s a very small unit and you use it one eye at a time. Maybe you’ve already done this but I also adjusted my brightness to low on my phone and iPad. It’s helped me especially at night.
Hope this helps
Phil

Hi
I just bought an eye sprayer pro on Amazon. It sprays warm mist on your eye. Because I use only distilled water I use it 2 or 3 times a day. Especially at the evenings. It seems to soothe my eye one at a time. I only got it yesterday so I’ll let you know how it goes.

Hi Cathy, I would agree with Al on this, but there may be other reasons too that I don't know about. I don't read much because I eyes feel so strained, but I think it's even worse working on the computer. Do you use eye drops at all. When I do, it does feel a little better, but my eyes are so sensitive that the only drops that don't burn are Refresh. I do put ice packs on my eyes when it gets really bad. I'm not sure if it helps or hinders, but it feels good.

Dry AMD, including the intermediate stage, is typically painless and does not cause physical sensations like pressure or tiredness in the eyes. However, symptoms such as blurry or distorted vision, difficulty seeing in dim light, or reduced contrast can make daily tasks more challenging, which might lead to fatigue from eye strain. If you're feeling pressure or unusual tiredness, consult your doctor to rule out other conditions.

Thanks Phil, I will certainly look for this! Yes, I’ve had to lower the brightness too. The light just seems too stark and harsh. My eye Dr. said to use sunglasses with a yellow tint, I’m going to check that out also.
